Das Atelierhaus Altes Güteramt im Hafen Mannheims beherbergt die Ateliers von 18 Kunstschaffenden internationaler Herkunft. Die verschiedensten Genres zeitgenössischer Kunst, wie Zeichnung, Malerei, Fotografie, Plastik/Objektkunst wie auch Film, Video, Installation und Performance, sind vertreten. Mehrmals im Jahr finden Ausstellungen mit GastkünstlerInnen und weitere kulturelle Veranstaltungen statt. Damit leistet das Haus einen wichtigen künstlerischen Beitrag zur freien Kunstszene im Südwesten.
Im Jahr 1880 als Badische Hafenverwaltung („Güteramt“) erbaut, wurde das Gebäude später als Hafenkantine genutzt. Erst 2020 wurde es zum Atelierhaus, als die Anundo GmbH das Haus Kunstschaffenden als Zwischennutzung zur Verfügung stellte. Immer noch Provisorium, ist das Haus längst zum wichtigen Anlaufpunkt für professionelle, freischaffende KünstlerInnen geworden, die mit großem Einsatz kollaborative Prozesse und künstlerische Projekte voranbringen.

The Atelierhaus Altes Güteramt in Mannheim's harbour is home to the studios of 18 artists of international origin. Various genres of contemporary art, such as drawing, painting, photography, sculpture/object art as well as film, video, installation and performance, are represented. Exhibitions with guest artists and other cultural events are organised several times a year. Through this Atelierhaus Altes Güteramt makes an important artistic contribution to the independent art scene in the south-west.
Built in 1880 as the Badische Hafenverwaltung ("Güteramt"), the building was later used as a harbour canteen. 2020 it became a studio building when Anundo GmbH, Heidelberg made the building available to artists for an interim use. Still temporary, the building has long since become an important meeting point for professional, freelance artists, promoting collaborative processes and artistic projects.
